This Is Love

So what is love? Love is thought to be one of the most complex emotions a person can feel because of all of the other emotions love drags along with it. Every one has their own eyes and mind, and everyone views love differently, so today I’m going to show you a few different views of love. Most of the time love is thought to be sappy and like gazing into your prince charming’s eyes while riding into the sunset on a white horse, but it’s not. Love is rock hard. Sometimes out of no where it will hit you, and it hurts, that is what is called a crush. Other times its just there, sitting next to you so you can lean on it. That is brotherly love. There are thousands of types of love for thousands of types of people. But real love is like the rock that you stand on and it is a solid ground. Everyone sees love in their own way, so my question and challenge: What is love in one sentence to you?

Love is God, and one of the truest form of love is friendships.

Love is feeling like you belong with people and how someone can care for you and not just themselves.

Love is never giving up on someone.

Love is a deep spiritual connection with a person, you like being around them, and you’re never afraid to be yourself with them.

Love is putting other’s needs before yours.

Love is spending your time thinking of somebody, how they’ve effected you and how you’ve grown with them.

The Perfect Girl Pt.2

The perfect girl, she had a laugh she despised, and hair she thinks looks like straw. She’s struggling with it all, her friends, her education, and the packaging to hold it all together was tearing at the seams. She was not perfect, and she had always tried. When ever she is near, she loses her smile, knowing it will never be as real a yours. When she is near, she she shows off her A, knowing she wouldn’t get another anytime soon. When she’s near, she’s petrified to be herself because that’s not what everyone thinks she should be. The perfect girl is poison to her spirit, without trying you show her everything she wishes she was.
You’re perfect to someone.

The Perfect Girl Pt.1

The perfect girl, she had a laugh of angles, and hair more perfectly placed than a dew drop on a spiders web. She had it all, the friends, the smarts, the money, and the perfect packaging to hold it all. She was perfect, the perfect poison. When ever she is near you hide your rough, unclear face to not be compared to her. When she is near you hide your papers so she can’t see the low grades. When she’s near, you’re afraid to be yourself because you know you’ll never be like her. The peppy perfect girl is poison to your spirit, without trying she crushes who you think you should be.
Don’t try to be society’s perfect, be your own perfect.

The Walls Of Your Heart

The world was breaking the gentle girl, all the while while telling her to build herself up. When she finally built a part of herself, society’s brutal words knocks down her walls of protection. So she took what she had left, and tried to protect her most important part, her heart. So the gentle girl goes through life, taking on the pain of people’s harsh blows, while keeping her heart in tact. But then she sees another, someone who was struggling like her. She saw straight through his face to his beautiful spirit. And she could feel her heart quicken at the sight of who he was. So she helps him up, and takes one of her shards off of her heart and placed it on his, to help build up what he really needed.
This is love, giving your heart’s protection to another and trusting they don’t abuse it.

Behind The Mask

Her life was nothing ordinary, it was extraordinary. Yet she hid behind a mask. A mask with a painted on smile, so no one could see the pain. She hid behind a mask with wide, attentive eyes to cover the tear staining her cheek. A mask of perfect makeup and hair to hide the cracks and brokenness left from others before. She hid behind a mask to fix what she’s been told is wrong about her, to please the crowd. To cover her true feelings, and to give the excuse that she’s fine. Her mask says that she doesn’t need help, but when you get close enough to see the real human behind the mask you can hear her shout for help.
